Copyright Issues

It is not an easy task for any anyone to deal with copyright issues successfully. But if you are going to deal with your company’s copyright issues, then you should follow such important steps.

  • First of all, you must have an electronic signature of the copyright owner that is supposedly infringed.
  • You must have a proper identification of the copyrighted job or work alleged to have been infringed.
  • You must have a proper identification of the substance that is believed to be infringing or to be the important part of infringing activity or wrong doing that is to be resolved in the earliest possible time. You should have a sufficient information of the wrongdoer to allow the legal agency to find out the material properly.
  • If you are going to resolve your copyright issues, then you should have a proper information, data or personal records that will allow the company to pursue the complaining, containing an email address, telephone number, official address, etc.
  • You should issue a clear-cut statement that the information in the legal notice is absolutely accurate, precise and under penalty of wrong act. Hence, the complaining party is legally authorized to pursue a legal action properly on behalf of the owner of a copyrighted material that is allegedly infringed.

But if you do not want to include all of the above mentioned information or record, it may cause an unnecessary delay of the processing of the DMCA notification. Bear in mind that under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, any individual who spontaneously misrepresents that record or activity is breach of contract may be subject to liability. Lastly, it is the Company’s policy to permanently cancel the authorization of the users or persons, in regular events of infringements. For more information, feel free to contact us at today!
